To deepen the integration of industry and education, promote the seamless combination of theoretical learning and industrial practice, and broaden university students’ professional horizons and employment insights, on June 26, 2026, a delegation of faculty and students from Wuhan University of Science and Technology visited Luoyang Kexin New Materials Co., Ltd. for a site visit and exchange, gaining an immersive understanding of the company’s production operations and technological innovation across the board.

To deepen the integration of industry and education, foster the seamless connection between theoretical learning and industrial practice, and broaden university students’ professional horizons and employment awareness, on June 26, 2026, a delegation of faculty and students from Wuhan University of Science and Technology visited Luoyang Kechuang New Materials Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Kechuang New Materials”) for an exchange and site‑visiting program, gaining an immersive understanding of the company’s production operations and technological innovation across the board.

The General Manager of Kechuang New Materials extended a warm welcome to the faculty and students of Wuhan University of Science and Technology and delivered a brief address. He provided an overview of the company’s core business, its technological strengths, and its development plans, while highlighting the longstanding, fruitful collaboration between the university and the enterprise. He encouraged the students to ground themselves in real-world settings, apply what they learn, gain practical experience, and clarify their career paths. He also expressed his anticipation for further deepening cooperation across multiple areas, including talent cultivation and technological research and development.

To ensure the safety and orderly conduct of site visits, staff from the Safety and Environmental Protection Department of Kechuang New Materials conducted a specialized safety briefing, providing detailed guidance on plant‑site visit protocols, workshop safety procedures, equipment‑operation prohibitions, precautions in hazardous areas, and emergency‑response measures. The briefing clearly outlined visit requirements, thereby establishing a robust safety framework for all visitors.

Subsequently, under the guidance of the workshop supervisor and with expert explanations throughout, the faculty–student team followed the designated route to systematically tour key areas such as the production workshops and testing laboratories. The workshop supervisor provided a detailed overview of the product manufacturing process, the quality‑control system, the distinctive core technologies, and the product’s application scenarios, while patiently addressing each technical question raised by the students, enabling them to gain a firsthand appreciation of the advanced intelligent manufacturing capabilities and meticulous management practices of the modern new‑materials industry.

This visit and internship has established a high-quality platform for university–enterprise collaboration, effectively broadening students’ professional horizons. Moving forward, Kechuang New Materials will continue to deepen its efforts in collaborative education, leveraging the synergies of industry–university–research integration to cultivate high-caliber, application-oriented talent in the new materials sector, thereby achieving mutual empowerment and win-win development between universities and enterprises.
