The silicon carbide–graphite composite crucible for smelting is manufactured by compounding high-purity raw materials, representing a new generation of high-quality silicon carbide–graphite composite products developed by our company. This product features high bulk density, excellent resistance to acid and alkali corrosion, superior high-temperature performance, high hot strength, rapid heat transfer, and outstanding oxidation resistance, with a service life 3 to 5 times that of clay–graphite crucibles. The product exhibits stable quality and long service life, significantly reducing fuel consumption, alleviating workers’ physical labor, and enhancing operational efficiency, thereby delivering improved economic benefits to users. It is compatible with a wide range of furnace types, including medium-frequency induction furnaces, resistance furnaces, electromagnetic induction furnaces, coal-gas generators, gas-fired furnaces, coke-fired furnaces, biomass pellet furnaces, and oil-fired furnaces. Its application scope encompasses the smelting of various nonferrous metal alloys as well as precious metals such as gold and silver, and ferrous metals including steel, aluminum, tin, lead, and zinc.
