Bottom blowing of rare gases (such as argon) through the porous brick of the ladle can blow away the gas and solid impurities in the molten steel, playing a role in homogenizing the composition and temperature of the molten steel, which is very important for the refining of molten steel. Ladle refining is a steelmaking process in which the crude steel from a converter, open-hearth furnace, or electric furnace is transferred to another container for refining, also known as "secondary steelmaking".
Through Steel Ladle Aeration Brick Bottom blowing of rare gases (such as argon) can purge gases and solid impurities from the molten steel, playing a role in homogenizing the steel composition and temperature, and is of great significance to the refining of molten steel. Secondary steelmaking is a steelmaking process in which the steel that has undergone primary refining in a converter, open-hearth furnace, or electric furnace is transferred to another container for refining, also known as "secondary steelmaking." The steelmaking process is therefore divided into primary refining and secondary refining. Secondary steelmaking includes: further adjusting and purifying the temperature, composition, gas content, harmful elements, and inclusions in the molten steel within the ladle to achieve cleanliness, uniformity, and stability; promoting the flotation of gas and inclusions in the intermediate vessel and stabilizing the temperature of the molten steel throughout the casting process.

Technological and equipment implementation of secondary steelmaking functions: using Aeration Brick Argon gas for gas stirring, or electromagnetic stirring can also be used; alloying elements, deoxidizers, and slag modifiers are added via a conveying system; solid materials, including alloys, are injected via a lance; alloy wire is fed into the ladle; various vacuum degassing technologies; heating the molten steel within the ladle furnace; steel flow protection technologies.
Common secondary steelmaking methods can be divided into two categories: ladle processing type and ladle refining type. LF furnace refining is one of the main methods of secondary steelmaking. Vacuum treatment is currently a means of refining high-quality steel. RH and VD are commonly used. Among them, the AOD method produces low-carbon and ultra-low carbon stainless steel under standard atmospheric pressure and is a commonly used non-vacuum method for smelting stainless steel. The VOD method is a secondary steelmaking technology that uses oxygen blowing for decarburization and argon blowing for stirring under vacuum conditions to produce high-chromium stainless steel. It is a commonly used non-vacuum and vacuum refining method for smelting stainless steel.
