1. Select the raw materials more strictly

Corundum is the main composition, forming in the main crystals, it also add some agglutinate using some Cr2O3 for the reason as: The refractory oxidize has the chemical stability as Al2O3>CaO>MgO>Cr2O3. 1. Utilize one property to its optimum by using in a proper way

Over flux rate may corrode the bottom purging plugs. Adjust gas flux rate in each stage strictly.

How to do this, at the steel tapping, turn on the gas in order to let the cold steel melt in the high temperature liquid steel. Therefore, considering both the high temperature liquid steel and static pressure, only by turning on the gas source can it reduce the amount of clogging from cold steel.

Blow the liquid steel at a high pressure of 1.5-1.8MPa within 3-5 second so that blowing the condensed steel out of the conduct. This also need to occasionally observe the gas tunnel connection. When there is a signal of leaking, should take action immediately.

2. Maintain after installation upon usage

When pouring liquid steel, a lot of permeating happens at this stage. After pouring, the ladle temperature dramatically drops, the bottom blowing purging bricks may corrode into a concave shape. In order to avoid the steel to condense too quickly,, worker should flip the ladle immediately, and control the argon and nitrogen gas to the pressure range of 0.8-1.0 MPa. Sometimes, the surface steel residues must be swept, or by applying pressurized gas to blow the residues of steel particles.
