2. Corrosion by slag after molten steel casting
After the molten steel is cast, the working surface of the permeable brick is in full contact with the slag. The slag continuously penetrates into the brick from the working surface. The CaO, SiO 2 、Fe 203 and other oxides in the steel slag react with the permeable brick, generating a low-melting-point compound that causes the permeable brick to be scoured and corroded.
3. Melting damage caused by oxygen pipe purging of the permeable brick working surface during ladle hot repair
When purging the working surface of the permeable brick, workers use an oxygen pipe in front of the ladle to blow away the residual steel slag around the permeable brick until the permeable brick turns slightly black.
4. Rapid cooling and heating during the circulation and turnover process, and mechanical vibration during hoisting
Steel receiving in the ladle is carried out intermittently and alternately. The heavy ladle is affected by rapid heating, and the empty ladle is affected by rapid cooling. At the same time, the ladle inevitably suffers external collisions during operation, generating mechanical stress.
